Our main service is helping landowners and managers thin their forests. We reduce fuels and decrease wildfire risk, improve habitat and protect watersheds by removing excess wood. Through the process of mastication and mulching we can remove excess ground fuels, vegetation, and overstory/understory trees while leaving a clean and finished product .

What we do
EcoForestry’s primary method of treatment is mastication. Mastication is a tractor based process of grinding the woody vegetation into a course mulch thereby putting the nutrients back into the land. We own and operate both horizontal and vertical heads on our machines to maximize efficiency on projects and create different outcomes depending on the treatment objective.
